RIBFEST

Scott's Run Settlement House is proud to present the seventh annual RibFest event to be held on July 18, 2009 from 11am to 7pm at Mylan Park in Morgantown, WV. This event is the major annual fundraiser for Scott's Run Settlement House which is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 social service agency in Osage, WV. We provide free services year round to our clients. These services include but are not limited to: food pantry, baby pantry, pet supplies, personal care items, senior programming, home repair and winter weatherization, family fun events, Christmas adopt-a-family, Thanksgiving and easter meals, and so on. The fund from RibFest are used to fund these programs.

The RibFest event itself is a fun filled day of famiy entertainment. We offer live music, (featuring the Davisson Brothers this year) a silent auction, a craft fair, exhibits, childrens activities, and of course ribs! The rib cookoff features seven of the areas best rib venors who duke it out for bragging rights of who has the best ribs in the area. They are judged in both a people's choice category, and a celebrity judge category.

RibFest always proves to be a fun and wonderful day while supporting a great cause! We hope to see you there!
