I've been a subscriber to Sirius satellite radio for about three years now and I am really happy with their service. I enjoy a whole range of Sirius radio channels. Sirius has attracted listeners because it offers a radio experience without commercials. Many people like DJs and like to hear a variety of music, but the commercials eat up so much time in the average radio hour. Being commercial free is a major selling point for the service.


One of my favorite kinds of music features the slow mellow beats of trip-hop or trance. Sirius has a station for that kind of music called Sirius Chill. This station plays tracks by bands like Hot Chip or Zero 7. After a late night of clubbing, the Chill station can usually set just the right mood for relaxing. The only problem with the chill station is that it doesn't have an actual DJ. A computer selects the tunes that they play.


Another station I listen to a lot is Sirius XMU. This station presents lots of indie rock music. It's kind of like a college radio station in that it features lots of underground or unsigned acts. There are other channels at this end of the spectrum that play bands from the Ravonettes to Best Coast.


For Rhythm and Blues hits, the best station is called Soul Town. This spot on the dial features hits by Earth Wind and Fire, Aretha Franklin, and other soul artists from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.Their music vault is pretty deep so if you listen for just a little while, you are bound to hear something that you haven't heard in ages.


Hip Hop Nation is Sirius's premier rap channel. They play the latest hits and B-sides from Li'l Wayne, Jayzee, and other rap performers. This station can have lots of profane language on it, so parents may want to be careful about letting their children listen. For hip hop without the swear words, you can listen to The Heat, a channel that has lots of new hits but that doesn't usually allow cursing. Sirius also has the Backspin channel which plays older rap hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.


Sirius provides music for jazz fans too. The Real Jazz channel plays classic songs by Chet Baker, Louis Armstrong, and all of the jazz standards. You can also hear blues or modern jazz on the other channels that Sirius offers.


If you like political debate, the satellite radio has many different choices. There are politically conservative programs and politically radical programs. You can listen to NPR or CNN. There is a Catholic channel for those who like to talk about religion and there are comedy channels for those who like to laugh at it.


All of the musical choices are great, but, really, the best thing about Sirius radio channels is the lack of commercials. With Sirius you can hear all of the songs you want without ever having to be pitched to. Commercial free is the way radio is meant to be.

When you speak into a phone, the Voice is converted into a digital signal by the phone's software, after that the digital signals are transferred to the ADSL router, which converts the signals into data packets, these data packets are then transferred over the Internet and sent to the other phone might be digital or analogue.


If the phone on the other end is a digital phone then the data is converted to digital signals which are decoded by the phone and can be heard as voice, However if it is an analogue phone the digital signal is further converted into an analogue signal which the phone can convert to voice.
